Morgan and Matthew got married on Halloween! Everything about this day was so unique and customized to them! They chose to have a micro wedding at The Historic Cavalier Hotel & Beach Club. The Hunt Room, which is tucked away inside the Cavalier, is where they hosted a small ceremony and intimate family dinner. I love how they were surrounded by their closest friends and family. I love this small wedding trend! It is so personal and sweet!

First, came the details! I love the juxtaposition of her feminine heels next to his Taft boots! Her something blue was a beautiful pop of color in her gorgeous hair styled by the one and only Georgia from The Dry House Virginia Beach!

I love the history of the Cavalier! Check out some fun facts here! Since its renovations it has been a hot spot for weddings and events!

After the details, we captured the final touches of hair and makeup before heading down to the ceremony.

A Wedding & Gender Reveal

Fun side note: They are expecting their first child!
After the ceremony, there was a gender reveal! Is there a better way to announce the gender of the baby on Halloween than a pumpkin with a smoke bomb inside!? I think not! It’s a boy! Congrats you two!

Bride & Groom Portraits

After that, we took iconic bride and groom portraits in front of the hotel and all around the grounds. It is so beautiful here!

The Cavalier is an amazing location to have a wedding. The grounds are spectacular! In addition, couples can customize their even to exactly what they want! Above all, it is the perfect location for a micro wedding!
