A Norfolk backyard wedding…..but it isn’t what you think!

In 2020 many things changed or were affected when Covid-19 entered the scene! Case in point-Gracie and Brent’s wedding! They had a beautiful celebration planned for a ceremony in Gracie’s parents’ backyard and a fun-filled reception set for the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club. When executive orders from the Governor were put in place, everything change. However, I think the day turned out to be the most perfect wedding! With a smaller guest count, everything took place at Gracie’s parent’s home and it couldn’t have been more beautiful if they tried! Elegant & Personal Details

Gracie was the perfect bride! Not only did she work with me to create a seamless photo time, but she had all of her bridal details ready to be photographed upon arrival! First up, you’ll see a tribute to their precious pups Jace & Buoy. These cake toppers were the perfect prop for rings during detail shots! To see them in real life, check out their engagement session!

Next, I was welcomed by the sweetest and most beautiful bridal party! Darling and Dapper did a phenomenal job with their looks! And can we talk about Gracie’s bridal robe? I mean come on!!! Amazing!

Evan Poe (officiant for the ceremony) mentioned that they could be in “Bride’s Magazine” and I have to say I agree with him!

A Norfolk Backyard Wedding

After all of the getting ready events were over, we enjoyed the most beautiful view in the backyard. A dream ceremony set up! Leslie Hartig ‘s floral design really added a beautiful touch!
