The Brock Environmental Center is the perfect spot for family photos! There is tons of space and golden light to capture memories in. You’d never know, but around me were about 50 other photographers-ha! The wide-open space allows plenty of room for everyone! This sweet family had perfectly coordinated outfits. I love the pop of burnt orange and blue against the neutral-colored grasses and green trees! It’s important to remember that you should be coordinated but not overly “matchy-matchy” while doing pictures.

I love photographing family sessions! Many people don’t know this, but before becoming a photographer I was an elementary school teacher. Many families are hesitant to book a session because they are afraid their kids won’t behave or won’t look at the camera. From my many years of working with kids, I have tons of tricks up my sleeve. So o don’t worry about the kids–just book the session!
