A First Landing Engagement Session is always fun! I met Charlie & Christina after being introduced to them by my dear friend Holly (a former incredible wedding coordinator who is coming out of retirement just for their big day!) We clicked instantly and after planning their engagement session we knew First Landing was the perfect spot. They are outdoor lovers who love to go on hikes with their fur baby, Emma! Isn’t she the sweetest golden you’ve ever seen?

They wanted their engagement pictures to be playful and fun! Here are just a few beautiful shots we were able to get during our time together. I think we nailed it!

I absolutely love this fallen tree at First Landing! It adds so much interest to photos and it’s fun to play around with the different angles of it. We stopped by later in the session during their second outfit as well.

Spanish Moss is the Perfect Touch

There is so much variety at First Landing. Throughout the park you will find the most beautiful spanish moss! When the golden light hits it, it feels as if you are in South Carolina! It just adds a little bit of magic to photos 🙂

The sweetest pup ever! I laughed so hard when she picked up that stick and then posed perfectly for me!

White Fluffy Stuff–Just Trust Me! 😉

Sometimes I’ll see something that, with the everyday eye, doesn’t seem so special–but when added into a tiny frame of a photo it turns out beautiful. Enter the white fluffy weed/flowers! I love it when clients just let me do my thing!

If you’re wondering where Emma is during all of this……well, here she is–haha! We said it looks like she’s pouting, but she was quite the happy girl!

Playful & Fun

As I have said before, I love a good traditional photo! However, during an engagement session, we will laugh and be goofy to bring out the playful side of you as a couple.

The Perfect Sunset Walk on the Beach

Mother Nature was showing off. Not only did we capture some beautiful shots throughout the wooded area, but we finished near the water with the most beautiful glowing sunset!

I am so excited for their 2022 Mimosa Barn Wedding! It is going to be a laid-back and intimate wedding and I can’t wait!
