I knew from the moment I met Scott and Lillie, at Panera Bread, that I wanted to work with them! They are happy (and FUNNY), down-to-earth and love each other so much. They also have a strong relationship with God and that resonated with me so much. I was incredibly impressed with them from the first interaction. At their engagement session, I was able to meet their sweet pup Boomer (who is no longer a puppy) and get to know them better as a couple. We laughed the entire time. I just knew their wedding day would be just as fun.
First up, I was greet by some adorable details to photograph! The “dusty” colored-palette was absolute perfection! I love it when bridesmaids are given the option to wear a variety of styles. They nailed it! Don’t you agree? The florals (made by a friend of the bride!) were a perfect touch along with the adorable custom cross-stitch of Lillie, Scott and Boomer! Everything about the details represented this couple so well!
After details, I documented everyone hanging out before the big day started. Everyone was full of smiles! There were so many happy and supportive people surrounding this sweet couple. One of the best moments was when Lillie put on her dress and everyone was so excited! She looked stunning in her dress from Ava Clara Bridal!!
After getting ready, they opted for a first look and portraits before the ceremony started. It was such a great way to calm nerves and get so many portraits of them. This way they could enjoy their cocktail hour later on that evening. Mimosa Barn is such an incredible place for portraits! I’m a sucker for glowing sun peeking through a tree lined background!
Isn’t Lillie gorgeous!?? Stacy from Mane & Cheek created such a sweet bridal look for her. Perfection!
And we can’t forget about Boomer! He had a bowtie and was ready for his closeup! Stay tuned for how he stole the show during the ceremony.
Following couple portraits , the bridal party surrounded them with support and brought their A game. They are so lucky to have so many incredible friends and family members to support them in this milestone!
To start, Lillie’s parents walked her towards an adoring Scott. Followed by heartfelt vows, a big surprise happened! When Scott turned to his brother for the rings, they were “nowhere to be found” haha. Then, Scott whistled and Boomer came running down the aisle with them tied to his collar. It was one of those kind of moments you would die to photograph on a wedding day! I have the best brides and grooms ever!
Look at everyone’s faces as Boomer bounded towards his parents!! Absolutely priceless! It is a moment I will never forget.
As you can tell from Boomer, it was a hot day! haha
Afterwards, the couple celebrated with their friends and family with a dinner under the open skies. A southern course from 412Q Barbeque was a crowd pleaser. There was corn hole and a beautiful view to keep guests entertained.
Lastly, the night wrapped up with dancing and a sparkler exit! The whole day was perfect from start to finish! I am so thankful that I was able to be there to document it all.
