Brittany and Jared met while working at the same elementary school with young children.   A friendship at work, soon turned to text messages, long phone calls and even the occasional get together.   They bonded over coffee, religion and board games!  After a year-long friendship, the next summer Jared had plans to go on a vacation.  During his trip, it hit him, HE MISSED BRITTANY!   Distance definitely made the heart grow fonder in their situation. When he returned home, he immediately visited her with the desire to date her.  
They already had a solid foundation of friendship, so their first dinner date ended with them sweetly holding hands.   From there, the rest was history.  It wasn’t long after they were talking about marriage.    
I met up with Jared and Brittany at Bayville Farms Park.  We took cozy portraits with some of the most adorable props that Brittany brought.  One included the sign that Jared used when he proposed to her.  They were playful and so sweet with each other.  After that, we ended our session at Pleasure House Point.  The golden light did not disappoint.  It was so windy and chilly, but you would never know because they rocked it like pros!   

I cannot wait for their wedding at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Wyndham Hotel  this May!  It’s going to be amazing!  How could it not be with two crazy-in-love people like this!  🙂
