When Abby’s mother first reached out to me about photographing her daughter’s wedding we immediately had so many connections. I have known Abby’s grandparents for years and two of my past brides (Shelby and Kim) referred them to me. I loved seeing all the friendly faces at the Washington DC Temple and at the Chesapeake Noah’s Event Venue!
Abby and Todd both go to school out in Idaho. They were out west until a few days before their wedding. I wasn’t able to do their engagements and I met them for the first time as they exited the temple. You would never be able to tell because they had the most natural chemistry in front of my camera and took my posing instruction like full-time model pros. 😉
They opted for a Wednesday sealing (there are no rules with LDS weddings and I love that!) at the Washington DC Temple followed by a Thursday reception back home in Chesapeake at the new Noah’s Event Venue. Everything was absolutely incredible. Abby’s family put together the most beautiful flowers and decor! The colors were yellow and green and it was so cheerful. I never get to see yellow at weddings so it was so unique!
