I first met Diana and Rylan at her BROTHER’S WEDDING in August of 2017. Diana’s mother had an unfortunate fall during the beginning of family pictures and had to be rushed off to the hospital to get stitches on the bridge of her nose. We were all traumatized in the moment, but after everything happened, it formed a friendship that I am grateful for. I stayed in touch with Diana’s mother and was so excited when she emailed about having me photograph Diana and Rylan’s wedding!
It was frigid at the Washington DC Temple the day they were sealed. Family members endured the cold and smiled for pictures while taking breaks in between in the lobby. We had a few minutes to take some bride and groom portraits in the beautiful golden light. Diana looked incredible in her Maggie Sottero gown and Copper Laurels nailed it again with the florals! This sweet couple snuggled up tight as her friends and family stood by with hand warmers and coats to warm them up in between shots.
This post is full of family photos —because to me that is what temple weddings are all about. FAMILY. It’s a time to celebrate the beautiful commitment, where two individuals promise forever to each other and have the support of their friends and family.
Thank you for letting me be part of your special day Diana and Rylan! Thank you for braving the cold. Happy Forever you two!!! 🙂
The DC Temple is closing in March 2018. If you know anyone who is getting married in before then or even at the Philadelphia Temple, Boston Temple, Raleigh Temple or Manhattan Temple contact me today!
