A Perfect Temple Wedding Day Molly and Tommy’s DC Temple summer wedding was nothing short of magical. After their stunning Eastern Shore LDS first look session at Bay Creek Country Club just one week prior, the couple was ready to make their eternal commitment official at the beautiful Washington DC Temple. The Beauty of LDS […]

Virginia Beach Vibe District Senior Photo Session When it comes to senior portraits, there’s nothing more important than showcasing the unique personality and passions that make each graduate special. For Abby, a talented musical and theatrical performer, we knew her senior session needed to be as dynamic and creative as she is. That’s why we […]

What’s better than a wildflower senior photo session? A Wildflower TWINS senior photo session! These gorgeous sisters met me at The Backyard Wildflower Patch in Chesapeake, VA. This gorgeous farm offers a variety of backdrops that are perfect for a senior photo session. Wildflowers, golden sunlight, a weeping willow tree, swings, you name it! They […]

Mimosa Barn Wedding in Cape Charles, VA Lillie + Scott I knew from the moment I met Scott and Lillie, at Panera Bread, that I wanted to work with them! They are happy (and FUNNY), down-to-earth and love each other so much. They also have a strong relationship with God and that resonated with me […]

Philadelphia Temple Bridal Session Daniela and José Miguel did a first look and bridal session at the Philadelphia Temple the week before their wedding. As, I drove to the temple, the forecast showed clouds. Then the sky opened and down came the buckets of rain! They were commuting 2 hours for this. Meanwhile, I immediately […]

The Washington DC LDS Temple closed for renovations on March 3, 2018. Since it was the last time it would be open for two years, it was a very busy day on temple grounds. I had the opportunity to photograph TWO weddings that day! I have never seen the parking lot as full as it was that day! It was a blustery cold day, but Steven and Janette brought their A game!
Every season at the Washington DC Temple brings new surprises! Andy and Julie’s “Black Friday” wedding, in November, boasted rich colored leaves that made for some pretty amazing photos!

The Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront was the perfect location for Amy and Joe’s wedding! They were surrounded by so many loving friends and family members.

They met at James Madison University at a fraternity/sorority mixer. Kaitlin and John were introduced through mutual friends. They were inseparable the whole night! The following day they went up to the mountains together and the rest was history! They dated a few more years throughout college. John graduated from JMU a year earlier than Kaitlin. He began his career in another city while she finished school. Long distance means they would alternate visiting each other every weekend. Their four hour roundtrip drives and accompanying visits made their relationship that much stronger!

I first met Diana and Rylan at her BROTHER’S WEDDING in August of 2017. Diana’s mother had an unfortunate fall during the beginning of family pictures and had to be rushed off to the hospital to get stitches on the bridge of her nose. We were all traumatized in the moment but after everything it formed a friendship that I am grateful for.

Heidi and Patrick were sealed in the Washington DC Temple on the most beautiful sunny day! I couldn’t believe how blue the sky was and how the perfectly placed clouds made it look like it was painted! The temple grounds were filled with exotic flowers and it was the perfect backdrop for such a sweet couple.

We’ve been waiting all year for Martha and Joey’s fall wedding at the beautiful Gaie Lea in Staunton, VA. I say “we” because I was photographing their wedding while my husband, Justin of Gibby Visuals, was filming it. We LOVE working together! It’s like an all-day date 😉 As parents of two young children its rare that we get to spend the entire day together! We will take it any way we can get it!

When Abby’s mother first reached out to me about photographing her daughter’s wedding we immediately had so many connections. I have known Abby’s grandparents for years and two of my past brides (Shelby and Kim) referred them to me. I loved seeing all the friendly faces at the Washington DC Temple and at the Chesapeake Noah’s Event Venue!
