A First Landing Engagement Session is always fun! I met Charlie & Christina after being introduced to them by my dear friend Holly (a former incredible wedding coordinator who is coming out of retirement just for their big day!) We clicked instantly and after planning their engagement session we knew First Landing was the perfect […]
The Brock Environmental Center is the perfect spot for family photos! There is tons of space and golden light to capture memories in. You’d never know, but around me were about 50 other photographers-ha! The wide-open space allows plenty of room for everyone! This sweet family had perfectly coordinated outfits. I love the pop of […]
A Pleasure House Point Photography Session is perfect in so many ways! This location is the perfect backdrop for photo sessions. The neutral colors and natural elements make outfits pop! This beautiful family is a former wedding client of Gibby Visuals. With a growing family, they reached about having a maternity session at the Delta Bayfront Hotel in Virginia Beach. If you haven’t been to this resort, you should definitely check it out. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the oceanfront but still […]
Spring is such the perfect time of year for a Red Wing Park family photos! This sweet family has been with been with me for a few years now and we did this session before their big move across country. As always, their outfits are perfection! Gone are the days of “matchy matchy” outfits. Subtle […]
The Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront was the perfect location for Amy and Joe’s wedding! They were surrounded by so many loving friends and family members.
They met at James Madison University at a fraternity/sorority mixer. Kaitlin and John were introduced through mutual friends. They were inseparable the whole night! The following day they went up to the mountains together and the rest was history! They dated a few more years throughout college. John graduated from JMU a year earlier than Kaitlin. He began his career in another city while she finished school. Long distance means they would alternate visiting each other every weekend. Their four hour roundtrip drives and accompanying visits made their relationship that much stronger!
Isn’t this family beautiful!? They are a blended family of 8! They were so much fun to work with and I loved their Carolina blue, navy and white color palette!
I have been dying to share this bridal session! Morgan and Cody were married on Saturday so now I can! This actually is Morgan’s reception dress. She chose to do a bridal session in it because she really wanted a beach session and this one was much better for the high temperatures and location she chose. We had the best time getting to know one another and chatting about all things WEDDING! Morgan you are BREATHTAKING! I am so thankful you chose me to document such a special time in your life!
PS: Morgan made her own bouquet and did her own makeup for this session! Amazing!

SO. MUCH. FUN! That is how I would describe my time with Kaitlin and John at their Virginia Beach Oceanfront engagement session. We laughed hysterically the entire time! Couples like this fill my heart with so much joy! What I loved even more, was having the opportunity to work alongside my husband, Justin, of Gibby Visuals. We love working together and feel like we give our clients the best experience when our photo and video services are combined!
