And sometimes, the wind has other ideas. But as this beautiful couple proved, a little imperfect weather is no match for real love. This beach engagement session in […]

Downtown Richmond is one of Virginia’s most stunning backdrops for photography. The historic brick buildings, cobblestone streets, and golden light make it truly magical. A Perfect Temple Wedding Day Molly and Tommy’s DC Temple summer wedding was nothing short of magical. After their stunning Eastern Shore LDS first look session at Bay Creek Country Club just one week prior, the couple was ready to make their eternal commitment official at the beautiful Washington DC Temple. The Beauty of LDS […]

When Molly and Tommy decided to do a first look session one week before their LDS temple sealing, they chose the perfect location to make it unforgettable.

The LDS Philadelphia Temple shines bright in the City of Brotherly Love! I had the pleasure of photographing Simmandi and Kyle’s temple sealing on a VERY hot July day! The temps reached the mid 90s and their friends and family stuck it out for the happy couple!
I know this is old news, but I am just getting around to talking about it because I didn’t know how to process it! It was announced in February of 2017 that the Washington DC Temple would be closing for 2 years for extensive renovations. I was shocked. I was sad.

The Washington DC LDS Temple closed for renovations on March 3, 2018. Since it was the last time it would be open for two years, it was a very busy day on temple grounds. I had the opportunity to photograph TWO weddings that day! I have never seen the parking lot as full as it was that day! It was a blustery cold day, but Steven and Janette brought their A game!
Every season at the Washington DC Temple brings new surprises! Andy and Julie’s “Black Friday” wedding, in November, boasted rich colored leaves that made for some pretty amazing photos!

I first met Diana and Rylan at her BROTHER’S WEDDING in August of 2017. Diana’s mother had an unfortunate fall during the beginning of family pictures and had to be rushed off to the hospital to get stitches on the bridge of her nose. We were all traumatized in the moment but after everything it formed a friendship that I am grateful for.

Heidi and Patrick were sealed in the Washington DC Temple on the most beautiful sunny day! I couldn’t believe how blue the sky was and how the perfectly placed clouds made it look like it was painted! The temple grounds were filled with exotic flowers and it was the perfect backdrop for such a sweet couple.

There I was….photographing a wedding at the Washington DC Temple and waiting for the couple to exit….
The sweetest blonde girl came up to me and told me she was engaged and asked for a business card. We had a great time chatting and she went on to tell me that she was my previous bride’s roommate!

When Abby’s mother first reached out to me about photographing her daughter’s wedding we immediately had so many connections. I have known Abby’s grandparents for years and two of my past brides (Shelby and Kim) referred them to me. I loved seeing all the friendly faces at the Washington DC Temple and at the Chesapeake Noah’s Event Venue!
