I spent a BEAUTIFUL spring day at the Washington DC Temple with Emily, Cristian and all of their closest family and friends. The temple was very busy on this day with weddings. We quickly did all of their family portraits near the front temple doors to allow extra time for Emily and Crisitian’s couple’s portraits. They will traveled one hour to Frederick, MD for their same day wedding reception. They had an intimate and small DIY reception at the The Tea Room at Gambrill State Park. This unique venue is a native-stone building, built in the 1930’s. It had picturesque views and was the perfect complement to Emily’s Earthy, romantic and intimate vision for her wedding. I loved the natural and green elements that incorporated into the decor. Emily’s sister even made her bouquet! They enjoyed a first dance on the stone patio, watched a sweet family-made film and exited by bubbles! It was such a perfect day!
